The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Scholarship, established in 1980, is a fully funded initiative by the Malaysian government aimed at fostering South-South cooperation by sharing Malaysia’s development experiences and expertise with other developing countries. This scholarship offers international students from developing nations the opportunity to pursue full-time Master’s degree programs in Malaysia, with a duration ranging from 24 to 36 months. It covers full tuition fees, provides a monthly living allowance of RM3,500, and includes a one-off return economy-class airline ticket . Preferred fields of study encompass areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, Economics, STEM, Food Security, Islamic Finance, Law, Public Administration, and Environmental Science . Applicants must be under 45 years old, possess a strong academic record (minimum CGPA of 3.5), and demonstrate English language proficiency. The application window for the 2025 intake is open from May 12 to June 13, 2025 .
